Fall is the perfect time of year to get out and enjoy the Schuylkill River Trail – named Best Urban Trail in America by USA Today.
Homeowners who live – or plan to live – at Sal Paone Builders Whitemarsh Station community can access the trail in Conshohocken, just a few miles from home. This is the perfect location to hop on a bike and cruise to Manayunk, just a six-mile-pedal away, or to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a 13-mile ride. For a quick bite on the way out, or at the end of your ride, stop in to the Conshohocken Brewing Company, a pub located directly on the trail.
The best part about this section of the trail is the availability of the Septa train that runs from Manayunk back to Conshohocken– an easy ride home if you don’t feel up to biking the return trip. With the end of daylight savings time and colder weather just ahead, now’s the time to get out and enjoy a few more excursions in the great outdoors!
