The Dreaded SLFs are Back

June 25th, 2019

The horrible Spotted Lantern Flies (SLF) are back, and now’s the time to start going after them with every tool in your arsenal.

Right now, these nasty creatures have hatched into the nymph stage.  Unless caught and killed, they will grow into the big, ugly black and red bugs that swarmed Southeastern Pennsylvania last summer.  The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has published details on how to prevent, detect and deal with these insects.  Take a look at their guidelines then plan your attack strategy.  If you have rose bushes, you might want to follow the lead of this local woman. She’s been dubbed the “bug assassin” for her backyard war against the SLFs infiltrating her roses.

If you need someone to talk you through the battle, call 1-888-4BAD-FLY for a friendly voice and good advice.
