New Homes Go Rustic

If you have fond memories of Grandma’s house, with its lovely Craftsman style and welcoming ambiance, you’ll be happy to know that this warm and wonderful look is a trend that is gaining steam in new home building.

The same is true of the rustic Farmhouse style that combines a feeling of strength and permanence through the use of natural materials.  This is according to a recent 2020 trends reported from Builder online.  The article  notes that both Craftsman and Farmhouse styles often include exteriors of board and batten siding mixed with stone, with trim elements that recreate the look of fine wood craftsmanship.  Inside, shaker cabinets, reclaimed lumber and other rustic elements, combine with more modern amenities like industrial lighting.  The look is carried through in finishes and detailing that preserve the classic look while incorporating a modern interpretation.

At Sal Paone Builders, we incorporate many of these ideas into new homes that respond to what today’s homebuyers value, both in aesthetics, spaciousness and amenities.  Our new Plymouth Valley Estates community is a perfect example. Take a look on our website, then plan a visit.  Only 79 homes will be constructed, so don’t delay.  We expect this community to sell fast!
