October is the month of “pink,” the time when hospitals, healthcare organizations and people who care work to raise awareness of breast cancer. 

The Paone team supports those battling this disease, and encourages all women to follow the early detection guidelines offered by the Susan G. Koman organization and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 

We also want to be sure that our homeowners and all those living in our region are aware of the many resources available close to home.  We are fortunate to have many of the nation’s best cancer prevention and treatment organizations right in our backyard.  Here’s a list of some of our local cancer centers, many of them national leaders.  There is so much hope for those already in treatment, and a broad spectrum of help available in preventing and treating breast cancer.  Our hope is that suffering can be prevented, lives can be saved and this deadly disease can one day be eradicated.
