Colors That Set the Stage

April 24th, 2018

If you think that staging your home to sell requires painting your interior rooms in various shades of white, here’s good news.  It’s ok to be creative – and you can use a variety of colors, even dark shades, to prep your home for its big close up with prospective buyers.

Houzz Contributor Neila Deen offers her ideas on Crowd-Pleasing Paint Colors, and many of them will surprise you.  She suggests bird’s egg blue for a warm shade with sunny undertones, a pale serene turquoise for a calming effect, or a sunny yellow to add a cheery brightness.  But, Neila’s ideas also veer into the darker colors, like classic navy blue and charcoal gray.

If you’re planning to put your home on the market, take a look at Neila’s suggestions and dress your home for selling success.  You could also apply her ideas to designing your next home – maybe a beautiful new model from Sal Paone Builders!
